The Wrestling Observer newsletter is reporting that WWE talent has been told to not have any contact with Hulk Hogan. This also applies to people that were around during his era and are still affiliated with WWE. I’m assuming that this means people under WWE Legends deals. I guess this means that we won’t be hearing Hogan on any wrestler podcasts anytime soon.
It’s interesting how there is a double standard for Hogan when, prior to his passing, Ultimate Warrior was brought back into the company after he made comments that were just as bad (or worse) than Hogan’s comments. The difference with Hogan and Warrior is that Warrior made the comments publicly so many would argue that Warrior’s situation was worse than Hogan’s.
Hogan told Sports Illustrated that he hasn’t talked to Vince McMahon since his firing and Triple H was the one that made the call to fire him over the phone once WWE got word that Hogan’s comments would get out in the press.
WWE had to redo the Camp WWE cartoon series since Hulk Hogan is one of the characters. The last word on that show, per WWE’s original press release from March, is that it was set to debut on the WWE Network later this year.
