WWE announced Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live that Dean Ambrose would defend the WWE World Heavyweight Title against AJ Styles at Backlash.
The WWE Backlash pay-per-view event will take place on September 11, 2016, at the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia. This will be a SmackDown brand exclusive show. The event will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. Here is the updated card for the event:
