WWE TLC card: Match pulled, two bouts expected to be announced

WWE still has matches that they will announce for the TLC pay-per-view event.

Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com noted in the Daily Update that AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton hasn’t been announced but was on the lineup earlier in the week.

The company is also planning to announce a match for the pre-show of the event.

Unless something changes, Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Braun Strowman isn’t expected to take place at TLC despite WWE hoping that Strowman would be cleared in time.

It was noted earlier this week that Strowman missed live events this past weekend due to injury. This forced WWE to scrap an angle to set up this match at TLC on last week’s SmackDown episode.

The belief earlier this week was that if Strowman was medically cleared by Friday then WWE could shoot the angle before TLC. However, since he’s not cleared, the match is off, as of this writing.

With WWE, anything could change including that contest and this card.

WWE holds the TLC pay-per-view event on Sunday, December 15, 2019 in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Target Center.
