Ronda Rousey looks to take out Nia Jax and Seth Rollins is hoping to get revenge on former best friend Dean Ambrose.

Kickoff Show

Cruiserweight Championship
Buddy Murphy (Champion) vs. Cedric Alexander

These two always have awesome matches and this one was great as you would expect. Sadly, they are hidden on 205 Live every week but they were able to win the crowd over in San Jose. Alexander had the match won after the Lumbar Check but Murphy got his foot on the rope. Murphy won the match after hitting Murphy’s Law.

Ladder Match with a guitar hanging over the ring
Elias vs. Bobby Lashley

Elias was able to grab the ladder and he grabbed the guitar so he’s the winner, despite interference from Lio Rush. Elias tried to smash the guitar on Lashley but Rush jumped on Elias’ back and then Lashley slammed Elias. Rush did a frog splash and then Lashley smashed the guitar on the back of Elias.

Mixed Match Challenge Finals
R-Truth and Carmella vs. Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox

This match also aired live on Facebook Watch.  The winners would earn the number 30 spot in their respective Royal Rumble and a paid vacation to anywhere in the world. Carmella won the match for her team by forcing Fox to tap out to the Code of Silence submission. There was a post-match interview with them in the ring. Before the match, Truth filled out a form on their vacation destination. It turns out that Truth picked WWE Headquarters in Stamford, CT. Carmella was not thrilled with that.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship – Triple Threat Match
The Bar (Champions) vs. The New Day vs. The Usos

Big E was at ringside for this match. The announcers mentioned that Sheamus is looking leaner and faster than ever before. Very good match. The Bar retained after Sheamus hit the brogue kick on Xavier Woods.

Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match
Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin

Corbin thought he would win the match via forfeit but Strowman appeared. He reminded Corbin that a TLC match means no disqualifications. Finn Balor, Chad Gable, Bobby Roode, and Apollo Crews appeared with chairs and they used the chairs on Corbin. Corbin tried to leave but Kurt Angle stopped him and attacked with chair shots. The Raw stars did moves on Corbin in the ring and then Strowman pinned Corbin with one foot.

Tables Match
Natalya vs. Ruby Riott

Liv Morgan took a bullet for Ruby as she took a bump off the ring apron and through a table. A few minutes later, Natalya slammed Sarah Logan through a table at ringside. Riott brought a table into the ring with the image of Jim Neidhart on it. Later on, Natalya laid out Riott and then brought a table in the ring with Riott’s image on it. She also put on her father’s jacket. The final minute of the match consisted of both women on the top rope. Riott went for a Hurricanrana but Nattie blocked it and powerbombed Riott through the table. Natalya wins.

Finn Balor vs. Drew McIntyre

This was a solid back-and-forth match. Late in the match, Galloway hit the Glasgow Kiss headbutt at ringside and then he shoved Balor in the ring. Dolph Ziggler appeared and he hit McIntyre with a superkick and then tried to use a chair but McIntyre caught Ziggler with a kick to the face onto the chair. McIntyre took a double drop kick from Balor with the chair in his hand. Balor hit the Coup de Grace double stomp of the top and then pinned McIntyre.

Chairs Match
Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton

They did a lot of creative spots with chairs including Mysterio crashing into a chair when attempting a running senton splash onto Orton but Orton moved off the chair. Late in the match, Orton set up four chairs side by side in the middle of the ring. Mysterio countered and he sent Orton into the chairs. Mysterio turned a hurricanrana into a roll up and then pinned Orton.

Backstage interview with Balor. Ziggler showed up and they fought. Ziggler tossed Balor over a crate.

Raw Women’s Championship
Ronda Rousey (Champion) vs. Nia Jax

This was Rousey’s best match. Lots of teases of the facebreaker punch from Nia. Rousey was able to fight off interference from Tamina and she forced Jax to submit to the armbar. After the match, Becky Lynch caught up with Jax backstage and knocked her on the ground with a punch. Click here for more details on what went down during this match.

WWE Championship
Daniel Bryan (Champion) vs. AJ Styles

Very good match. The story told was that Styles was working with injured ribs. Styles almost had the match won a few times but Bryan was able to roll him up in the end to get the pin. Click here for more on this match.

Backstage, Ronda Rousey and Natalya were celebrating. Rousey said “payback is a b*tch” when it comes to Charlotte Flair.

Intercontinental Championship
Seth Rollins (Champion) vs. Dean Ambrose

This was an intense match. Rollins favored his knee. Ambrose ended up winning the match with Dirty Deeds. Click here for more details on what went down in this match.

SmackDown Women’s Championship – Triple Threat TLC Match
Becky Lynch (Champion) vs. Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair

This match was crazy with some crazy bumps. In the end, Flair and Lynch fought on top of a ladder in the ring but Ronda Rousey showed up and shoved them off. That allowed Asuka to climb another ladder to become the SmackDown Women’s Champion. Click here for more details on what went down in this match.
