They did a backstage segment with Jason Jordan and his “father” Kurt Angle. Angle seemed nervous about tonight. Elias interrupted and asked for a segment on the show. Angle gave it to him and then took a shot at Jordan. He took a jab at him by saying that he has a spot on the show and Jordan doesn’t.

Kickoff Match
Alicia Fox vs. Sasha Banks

They got a lot of time. The match was not bad and Fox was good with some of her facial reactions. Banks won with the Banks Statement.

Asuka vs. Emma

During the Kickoff show, Emma complained about not getting the attention like Asuka and she repeated that she is the one that started the Women’s Revolution. That makes me think that they’re bringing back Paige to feud with her. Anyway, Asuka won this match with the Asuka Lock. Pretty good match to get Asuka started on the main roster and they got about 15 minutes to work.

Backstage segment with The Miz and his team. Strowman told his teammates to stay out of his way. Kane said that he will reduce Dean Ambrose to a pile of rubble. Miz said that his team will run Monday Night Raw after tonight.

Elias segment from the stage area. He wanted to sing a song and told the crowd to shut their mouth during his song. Jason Jordan tossed vegetables at him and then walked off. That was it.

Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann vs. Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick

Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness called this match. Great match, lots of action. Alexander looked really good in this match. He got the win with the lumber check on Kendrick.

Raw Women’s Championship
Alexa Bliss (Champion) vs. Mickie James

During the Kickoff show, Mickie was interviewed backstage and she pointed out that there are women on the roster that are older than her and about half of the men on the roster are her age or older. She dedicated this match to her son. Before the match, Alexa said that she grew up watching Mickie and those were “the good old days.” This was a good match. Late in the match, they traded slaps and then kicked each other in the head at the same time. Both women fought their way back with a forearm exchange. Later, Mickie went for a move off the top rope but Alexa hit the ropes and knocked Mickie off. Mickie moved out of the way before Alexa could hit Twisted Bliss. Mickie then hit a dropkick off the top rope and went for the pin but Alexa kicked out. For some reason, fans chanted “we want tables.” Bliss pulled Mickie face-first into the turnbuckle and then hit the DDT and then pinned her. Alexa retains.

Charly Caruso interviewed Mickie in the ring. Mickie was crying and said that she gave her heart and soul and it wouldn’t be her last time in a Women’s Championship match. She thanked the fans for their love and support.

There was a backstage segment with Kurt Angle, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose. Angle is not sure what he has left but he will give 100% of whatever he has left in the tank. Rollins gave Angle a Shield vest.

Another Elias segment on the stage area. Jason Jordan interrupted again by throwing vegetables at him.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Kalisto (Champion) vs. Enzo Amore

Amore was apparently out partying last night because he was losing his voice during his promo. Amore is the champ again. He hit Kalisto with a thumb to the eye when the ref was not looking and then hit his finisher. This was expected becuase the decision to put the title on Kalisto a couple of weeks ago was never in the plans but things changed when Neville left the company. Charly Caruso interviewed Amore after the match. He thanked himself. He said that he owes the fans a “big no thank you, how you doin?”

Finn Balor vs. AJ Styles

The announcers acknowledged that Styles was flown from South America from the Smackdown Live tour to fill in for Bray Wyatt. Fans chanted “this is awesome” before the bell rang. I’ll just say that the gave the fans everything they wanted. The match went about 20 minutes and Balor won with the double stomp. Click here for more on this match.

Elias vs. Jason Jordan

This match was made after the last interruption from Jordan. Fans were not into the match but it wasn’t too bad. Jordan got the win with a roll up. The replay showed that Elias had his shoulder up so the match should not have ended. I guess we’ll get more rematches between these two guys.

Backstage, Miz said that Ambrose, Rollins, and Angle will be treated like garbage and they will be driven to the dump.

5-on-3 Handicap Match – Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match
Kurt Angle, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, Braun Strowman, and Kane

This was a crazy match with tons of ladder, chair and table spots. Strowman and Kane turned on each other. Strowman was eventually tossed in the back of a garbage truck and Kane was taken out by a double spear at ringside. Amore, Rollins, and Angle won by pinning The Miz with a triple powerbomb.
