The Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event is quickly approaching for WWE, but no matches have been announced for it just yet.
This past Monday on Raw, WWE did an angle where Sheamus turned heel and attacked WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. WWE has already confirmed a segment featuring McIntyre on next week’s show.
During today’s Talking Smack episode, WWE had Paul Heyman send a warning to Adam Peace that could result in a WWE Title match being made official for the Elimination Chamber show on Monday’s Raw.
Heyman told Pearce that since Edge has yet to make a decision about which title he’ll challenge for at WrestleMania 37, McIntyre should defend the WWE Title at the Elimination chamber.
Heyman told him that “he had no choice but to show up” on Monday’s Raw and to “announce a main event for the Raw brand at Elimination Chamber.” He pointed out that if he doesn’t then he will put himself in a position to create a “major advertising campaign for the main event” or “will be heading straight to the unemployment line.”
WWE holds the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida on the WWE Network.
