WWE is preparing to move to its new headquarters located at 707 Washington Blvd in Stamford, CT, something that has been in the works for years due to it being delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
A company spokesperson previously told CTinsider the move is planned to commence towards the end of the first quarter of 2023.
In an update by Pwinsider.com, WWE will begin moving its first group of employees to the new building later this month. They were told “that the plan is to have those first divisions of the company in place at the new building by the end of March.”
WWE will move their departments, piece by piece, to the new building as it will be a slow process as renovations are still ongoing in the new HQ. The company also wants the process to go as smoothly as possible. The hope is the entire process will be completed by “2023 or early 2024, but there is no hard date targeted to have everyone in the new HQ.”
At the time of the CTinsider article being published, WWE had over 800 employees at Titan Towers, although that number has been reduced due to the layoffs following Vince McMahon’s return and the company cutting costs while looking for a potential buyer of the company.
WWE has been in Titan Tower since 1985. WWE has filmed various things at the headquarters over the years including segments, show intros, a Super Bowl commercial, and the 2020 Money in the Bank ladder matches.
