WWE is slated to hold an international PPV event next month, according to a new report by the WrestleVotes Twitter account.
The event, which doesn’t have a name or venue yet, will be held on February 20th. It should be noted that there is a gap in the WWE PPV schedule from January and March as the Royal Rumble will take place on January 26th and the Elimination Chamber show goes down on March 8th.
This international event would fill that gap. Typically, WWE holds an event in Saudi Arabia after WrestleMania so it could be held in a different country. We’ll pass along any news when it becomes available.
The tweet by WrestleVotes read like, “WWE is set to have an international PPV on Thursday, February 20th. No location has been confirmed at this time according to a source.”
Here is a list of confirmed dates and locations for WWE pay-per-view event in 2020 thus far:
January 26: Royal Rumble in Houston, Texas at the Minute Maid Park
March 8: Elimination Chamber in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Wells Fargo Center
April 5: WrestleMania 36 in Tampa, Florida at the Raymond James Stadium
August 22: NXT TakeOver: Boston in Boston, Massachusetts at the TD Garden
August 23: SummerSlam in Boston, Massachusetts at the TD Garden
