WWE has been building up tonight’s Raw around one angle that is slated to set up a future title match.
The show’s announcements include Seth Rollins facing Finn Balor in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match, AJ Styles taking on Dominik Mysterio, Penta battling Pete Dunne, and Raquel Rodriguez facing Roxanne Perez in a women’s Elimination Chamber qualifying match. Sami Zayn’s appearance is also scheduled, along with a WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Number One Contender’s match between Ivy Nile and Dakota Kai.
Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Naomi are heading to Raw to confront Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. SmackDown GM Nick Aldis informed them last week that the heels were seen on security footage around the ambulance that Jade Cargill was loaded in after she was attacked.
PWInsider.com reports that the angle tonight “is scheduled to set up a Women’s Tag Team Championship match, likely for next week’s Raw.” Cargill hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since the attack on November 22nd.
