WWE to tape Raw and SmackDown episodes on same night in November

Fans planning to go to see WWE stars in action on Friday, November 8th are in for a long night.

On Tuesday, news came out that the WWE Raw TV taping scheduled for Monday, November 11 at the SSE Hydro arena in Glasgow, Scotland has been changed as it will no longer be a televised event. Now, it will be a live event with the same Raw stars advertised to appear.

WWE needed to find a new date to tape this episode of Raw. It was revealed on Wednesday that WWE will hold double TV tapings for both Raw and SmackDown Live on November 8th in Manchester, England at the Manchester Arena.

Fans noted the change on social media as seen below, courtesy of Mel, and later confirmed by ProWrestling.net.

The belief is that the change of plans could be due to WWE’s return to Saudi Arabia. It was reported last week that with WWE signing a big money deal with FOX to air SmackDown Live this fall that starts on Friday, October 4, they had to move shows around on the UK tour to make it to Saudi Arabia for their show on November 1st, which is on Friday, at the request of the government in the country.
