Just when you thought the rumors about a possible Shawn Michaels comeback match would have died down, HBK gave the fans a glimmer of hope this past week when he said that if he ever wrestled another match then his dream opponent would be Samoa Joe.
Michaels told ESPN, “I see his stuff at NXT and think to myself, ‘Man, I could have a great deal of fun with you.” If that wasn’t enough, WWE.com has also posted a story on it. Joe also chimed in with a tweet (see below).
For those of you who have emailed us about the story, there is nothing to the Joe vs. HBK rumors. Michaels has been adamant about staying retired and he has continued to tell friends that he has no plans to wrestle again.
