WWE will air multiple WrestleMania commercials during Super Bowl LVI on Sunday

PWInsider is reporting that WWE has informed their employees that they will be airing multiple WrestleMania commercials during the Super Bowl on Sunday.

This would be the first time that WWE has run Super Bowl ads since 1999 when they were pushing the “Get It” campaign about the Attitude Era.

Super Bowl LVI will air live on NBC and it will be streamed on Peacock so this may be NBC airing the ads to promote programming they pay for and not WWE paying for the time.

This is obviously a big deal for WWE because it exposes their brand to the largest television audience of the year. Last year’s Super Bowl was watched by 91.6 million viewers in 2021 and just under 100 million viewers in 2020.
