Boston Mayor Marty Walsh announced today that large-scale events like parades and festivals will not take place this summer.
Walsh said that smaller events will be looked at on a case-by-case basis so, perhaps, this may open the door for WWE or smaller companies to run shows in smaller venues.
WWE had big plans for SummerSlam in Boston as Rob Gronkowski was supposed to wrestle on that show. There is also talk of a big feud paying off during that show. Click here for the spoiler news.
I can announce that parades and festivals will not take place this summer in the City of Boston,
up to and including Labor Day on September 7.
