For months, we’ve been reporting on WWE’s plans to crown new Women’s Tag Team Champions.
On this week’s Monday Night Raw, Alexa Bliss provided details on how champions will be crowned and she unveiled the new titles.
Basically, three teams from Raw and 3 teams from Smackdown will compete in next month’s Elimination Chamber. The winning team will be crowned new Women’s Tag Team Champions.
The Women’s Tag Team Titles have been dormant since the late 1980’s when The Glamour Girls held them. The titles were retired in early 1989.
WWE Elimination Chamber will take place on February 17 at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX.
