Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal
Matt Hardy won the match from an unlikely source. Bray Wyatt appeared towards the end of the match. After Hardy’s win, he and Wyatt hugged in the middle of the ring.
WWE Cruiserweight Championship Tournament Finals
Cedric Alexander vs. Mustafa Ali
Alexander defeated Ali to win the Cruiserweight Championship. Not quite on the level of the recent matches on the weekly 205 Live show but still a very good match.
WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal
The finish of the match was Bayley eliminating Sasha Banks. Bayley thought she won but she didn’t realize that Naomi was never eliminated. Naomi eliminated Bayley.
Intercontinental Championship – Triple Threat Match
The Miz vs. Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins
Miz sent The Miztourage to the back before the match got started. Corey Graves put over how Miz has changed since his daughter was born. This was an excellent match with tons of near falls and the crowd was amazing. Rollins won the IC title after hitting the curb stomp on Miz.
Smackdown Women’s Championship
Charlotte Flair (Champion) vs. Asuka
This was another excellent match. Flair retained when she forced Asuka to tap out to the Figure 8. Click here for more on this match.
After the match, a referee said something to John Cena in the crowd. Cena sprinted to the back with a smile on his face.
United States Championship – Fatal 4-Way
Randy Orton (Champion) vs. Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Rusev
Decent match. The crowd was super hot for Rusev. Mahal won the match after hitting the Khallas on Rusev.
They aired a Snickers edition of The Fashion Files. Mick Foley was in it too.
Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey vs. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon
Rousey and Angle got the win after Rousey forced McMahon to tap out. Rousey actually looked pretty good for her level of experience. Click here for more details on what happened during this match.
Smackdown Tag Team Championship – Triple Threat Match
The Usos (Champions) vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers
The Bludgeon Brothers won the tag team titles. Harper got the pin on Kofi Kingston.
The Undertaker vs. John Cena
Cena went out expecting his match The Undertaker but Elias walked out while playing guitar. Elias cut his usual heel promo and played a song. Cena went back in and hit the FU on him. The Undertaker’s music played and he came out to face Cena. Taker got most of the offense in on Cena. It was a one-sided match and Taker pinned Cena after hitting the tombstone. Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon defeated Owens and Zayn. McMahon had to wrestle alone for several minutes because Bryan was attacked before the bell rang. Bryan took over the match when he tagged in. He looked great and hit all of his trademark moves. He won the match for his team after forcing Zayn to tap out to the Yes Lock. Click here for more on this match.
Raw Women’s Championship
Alexa Bliss (Champion) vs. Nia Jax
Jax won the match after hitting the Samoan Drop off the second rope.
AJ Styles (Champion) vs. Shinsuke Namakura
Good match with a lot of back and forth action. The story of the match was that Nakamura was favoring his knee and Styles was favoring his back. Styles ducked the Kinshasa attempt and then hit the Styles Clash to get the pin. Styles is still WWE Champion. Nakamura handed Styles title but then turned heel when he hit him with a low blow. The attack continued at ringside. Nakamura hit him with a Kinshasa at ringside.
Raw Tag Team Championship
The Bar (Champions) vs. Braun Strowman and ???
The Bar had Mardi Gras music and a parade setting for their theme as they made their way to the ring. Strowman chose a 10-year old kid names Nicholas as his partner. Nicholas stood on the apron for the entire match as Strowman took out The Bar. Strowman got the pin on Cesaro so he and Nicholas are the new Raw Tag Team Champions.
WWE Universal Championship
Brock Lesnar (Champion) vs. Roman Reigns
Lesnar retained the title after hitting a seventh F5. Reigns was bleeing buckets from the top of his head after taking an elbow, similar to the shot Randy Orton took a couple of years ago at SummerSlam. Click here for more on this match. They showed Reigns upset at ringside as his music played and as the show closed.
