Will Triple H lose his match to Batista? If he does then he will have to retire. Who will take all the titles in the main event and will Brock Lesnar be able to retain his Universal Championship against Seth Rollins? There are also rumors circulating about some surprises, including a potential appearance from John Cena and/or The Undertaker.
As always, we provide real-time coverage during the broadcast so don’t forget to refresh this page after every match for fresh results. You can also click here if the results don’t show up immediately for you.
WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Buddy Murphy (Champion) vs. Tony Nese
This match was slotted first, which means they had to wrestle in a stadium that was about 75 percent full as fans were still arriving. Very good match. Nese won the title after hitting the running Nese (knee).
WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal
The participants: Naomi, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Lana, Maria Kanellis, Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott, Asuka, Candice Lerae, Kairi Sane, Carmella, Nikki Cross, Ember Moon, Sarah Logan, Zelina Vega, Kacy Catanzaro, Mickie James, and Dana Brooke.
Carmella won after eliminating Sarah Logan.
WWE Raw Tag Team Championship
The Revival (Champions) vs. Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder
The undefeated streak has been broken. Hawkins took a brain buster at the end of the match and he laid motionless with Scott Dawson standing over him. Hawkins managed to get a rollup and pin for the win. New Raw Tag Team Champions.
Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal
The participants: Colin Jost, Michael Che, Braun Strowman, Andrade, Apollo Crews, Titus O’Neil, Tyler Breeze, Jinder Mahal, No Way Jose, Bobby Roode, Chad Gable, Kalisto, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, Heath Slater, Rhyno, Viktor, Konnor, Ali, Shelton Benjamin, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Otis, Tucker, EC3, Luke Harper.
Strowman, Che and Jost were the last men in the ring. Strowman eliminated both of them. Jost was tossed out onto a bunch of wrestlers at ringside for a safe landing.
Alexa Bliss, the host of WrestleMania 35, kicked off the show. Bliss snapped her fingers and Hulk Hogan’s theme played and he walked out. Hogan talked about how great it is to be at MetLife Stadium. He ended with the “Whatcha gonna do…” catchphrase and then he and Bliss did his trademark posing. Then, all of a sudden, Paul Heyman walked out to the ring. Heyman said he and his client are not hanging around to wait and they are about to get on a jet to Las Vegas so the WWE Universal Championship match will kick off the show.
WWE Universal Championship
Brock Lesnar (Champion) vs. Seth Rollins
Lesnar dominated Rollins at ringside and it took several minutes for the match to get officially started. Rollins was finally able to win after hitting three curb stomps. Rollins is the new Universal Champion.
Jerry “The King” Lawler was introduced for guest commentary for the next match.
AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton
Pretty good match. Styles kicked out of an RKO. Later on, he hit a Phenomenal Forearm to the outside of the ring on Orton. Then he hit another one in the ring and then pinned Orton.
Lacey Evans made an appearance. There are big plans for her.
WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship – Fatal 4-Way Match
The Usos (Champions) vs. Ricochet and Aleister Black vs. The Bar vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev
Very good match. The Usos retained after hitting the double splash and pin on Sheamus.
They honored all of the WWE Hall Of Fame inductees.
Falls Count Anywhere Match
Shane McMahon vs. The Miz
They fought all over the arena. They ended up on a high platform by the hard camera and Miz executed a suplex through a box area (obviously padded) but McMahon won because he landed on top.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship – Fatal Four-Way Match
Bayley/Sasha Banks vs. Beth Phoenix/Natalya vs. The IIconics vs. Nia Jax/Tamina
New champions crowned. Phoenix hit the Glam Slam on Bayley but Billie Kay stole the pin from her to win the titles for her and Peyton Royce.
Daniel Bryan (Champion) vs. Kofi Kingston
Kofi Kingston is the new WWE Champion. The roster watched this match on the monitor in the back. Rowan tried to interfere but Big E and Xavier Woods took him out. This was a heated match with one of the loudest crowd reactions of the night. Kingston won with trouble in paradise.
WWE United States Championship
Samoa Joe (Champion) vs. Rey Mysterio
This was a very quick match. Joe won with a choke in less than a minute. Perhaps, Mysterio is still injured and could not work on the ankle for too long.
Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre
This was a basic match. Reigns pinned McIntyre after hitting the spear.
Musical segment: Elias
He was interrupted by the thuganomics version of John Cena and he was dressed like he used to in 2003. Cena did a rap and then hit Elias with the Five Knuckle Shuffle and the FU (aka the AA).
No Holds Barred, Triple H’s career on the line
Triple H vs. Batista
This was a slow plodding match. They relied on weapons. At one point, Triple H used a chain on Batista’s back and then pliers to pull the nose ring out of Batista’s nose. Triple H won with a sledgehammer shot and Pedigree thanks to Ric Flair handing him the sledgehammer.
Angle’s retirement match
Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin
The match didn’t last long. Angle attempted a moonsault but Corbin moved and hit End of Days for the win. Angle grabbed the mic and led the crowd in a “you suck” chant as his music played.
WWE Intercontinental Championship
Bobby Lashley (Champion) vs. Finn Balor
Balor won with the coup de grace.
WWE Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championship – Winner Takes All
Ronda Rousey (Champion) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair
Lynch won the match with a cradle after reversing the Piper’s pit. The announcers sort of played it up like it was disputted finish because it looked like Rousey’s shoulder might have been up slightly.
