Both men got elaborate entrances. Batista seemed nervous as he almost tripped over the rope when he stepped into the ring. In the first minute of the match, Triple H nailed Batista with a toolbox and it was legal because of the “No Holds Barred” stipulation. Triple H used channel lock pliers on Batista’s hand. He followed up on that with a chairshot to the back and then he used needle nose pliers to pull the nose ring out of his nose.
After several minutes, Batista was able to get some of his own offense at ringside. Later in the match, Batista was setting up for a Batista bomb on steps that were positioned on one of the announcers table but Triple H reversed it into a back body drop onto a second announcers table. Triple then ran across two tables to spear Batista through the third announcers table.
Later and back in the ring, Triple H powerbombed Batista on stairs in the ring. He hit the Pedigree but Batista kicked out of the pin attempt. Batista fought back with a DDT on Triple H on the steps. Ric Flair appeared at ringside to give Triple H the sledgehammer.
Triple H nailed Batista with a sledgehammer and followed up with the Pedigree for the win.
