We are live with ongoing coverage of WWE WrestleMania 37. The Kickoff show on Peacock starts at 7 pm eastern. There will be no matches on the Kickoff show so the in-ring action won’t start until the main broadcast at 8 pm eastern.

Ashland Craft sang “America The Beautiful” to kick off the show. After the video intro, hosts Titus O’Neil and Hulk Hogan were introduced and they were dressed as pirates.
“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton
After Orton’s entrance, Bliss made her entrance to the ringside area to a giant jack in a box. The Fiend was no longer burned and charred like he was at Fastlane. This time he had an updated version of his Fiend mask and gear on.
Wyatt started the match by diving onto Orton in the ring from the top of the box. Fiend got in the early offense and Orton slid to the outside of the ring. Orton picked up and slammed The Fiend on the announcer’s table but Fiend no sold it and applied the mandible claw. Orton broke free and hit a draping DDT but The Fiend no sold that too.
Wyatt eventually locked in the mandible claw and he was about to win but Bliss appeared on top of the box with black liquid pouring all over her. The distraction allowed Orton to win after hitting the RKO.
They did a backstage segment with Hogan, Titus, and Eric Bischoff. Bayley walked in to talk about her talk show. The legends walked away to talk about Bischoff’s boat.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler vs. Natalya and Tamina
Natalya and Tamina got most of the offense for the first few minutes of the match, including a suplex spot on Nia Jax executed by both Natalya and Tamina at the same time.
The heels finally turned things around when Jax bodyslammed Tamina on the floor at ringside and Baszler hit Natalya with a running knee to the face in the corner of the ring. There was a mistimed near fall after Jax powerbombed Natalya. Tamina was a split second later to break up the count but Natalya was smart enough to get her shoulder up. Tamina tagged into the match, Baszler tried to apply the Kirafuta Clutch but Tamina reversed into a Samoan slam.
Jax came down hard on her knee when she did a flying body press off the top rope. It was an awkward spot because the cameras caught Tamina and Natalya standing by ready to take the move. Jax taunted Tamina and said, “you ain’t sh**.” Tamina backhanded Jax and then slammed her into a pin attempt and close near fall. Tamina then did a Superfly splash off the top but Jax moved out of the way.
Baszler won the match for her team by forcing Natalya to tap out the Kirafuta Clutch.
JBL joined the announce team for the next match.
Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn
Zayn made his entrance and then he introduced Logan Paul. The first big spot was Zayn dropping Owens’ neck first on the ring apron as Logan Paul Looked on from his chair next to the announcer’s table. Zayn also hit a Michinoku Driver but Owens was able to kick out of the pin attempt.
Moments later, Owens took over and he hit a splash off the top rope but Zayn was able to kick out of the pin attempt. Owens then picked up Zayn and dropped him neck first across his knee but Zayn was able to kick out of the pin attempt. Owens tried a powerbomb but Zayn countered into an Exploder suplex into the corner of the ring. Zayn went for the Heluva kick but Ownes countered into a stunner attempt and then Zayn countered into the Blue Thunderbomb into a pin attempt and then an exploder and 2 brainbusters.
Zayn went for a move of the top but Owens countered into an avalanche fisherman suplex. Owens hit a pair of clotheslines in the corner but Zayn came back with the Heluva kick. Zayn tried another one but KO hit two consecutive superkicks and then the stunner for the win.
After the match, Logan Paul went to check on Sami and then he went to shake KO’s hand and Zayn was not happy about that. Paul shoved Zayn and then Paul went to celebrate with KO but KO hit him with the stunner.
Backstage segment with RVD, Matt Riddle and The Great Khali.
WWE United States Championship
Matt Riddle vs. Sheamus
Sheamus was on offense for the first few minutes of the match. About 5 minutes in, Sheamus hit the 10 beats, and then he went up to the top rope but Riddle ran up and he hit an overhead belly to belly off the top. Riddle followed up with forearms, a suplex, and a jackhammer. Sheamus came back at Riddle with a stiff knee to the head from out of nowhere, followed by an Alabama Slam into a pin attempt.
Riddle turned things around by kicking Sheamus in the face on the ring apron and then following up with a moonsault off the ropes to Sheamus at ringside. Riddle also hit a dive off the top into a near fall. Riddle locked in a reverse armbar but Sheamus powered out of it and slammed him but just as Sheamus was going for the pin, Riddle locked him in a choke. Sheamus made it to the bottom rope and then began throwing punches.
Sheamus tried a sunset flip bomb off the top but Riddle slipped out and then went up to the top but Sheamus reverses into and he tried White Noise but he slipped with Riddle on his back and hit a regular White Noise. Sheamus hit a Harley Race knee off the top and then went for a pin but Riddle kicked out. Sheamus went for the Brogue but Riddle kicked out, Riddle went for a moonsault off the ropes but Sheamus kicked him in the head and pinned him to win the title. Riddle’s mouth was busted open.
WWE Intercontinental Championship – Nigerian Drum Fight
Big E vs. Apollo Crews

The only way to win this match is by pinfall or submission. It was announced that there were no disqualifications or countouts. Wale did a live performance for Big E’s entrance.
They had kendo sticks, drums, and a gong, among other things, at ringside for them to use as weapons. They immediately went to get kendo sticks to use on each other but Big E got the better of the exchange. Big E drove Crews into a drum at ringside nad then Big E picked up the gong but Crews kicked him and then attacked him with the kendo stick. Back in the ring, Big E turned things around by spearing Crews through the ropes and to the floor.
Big E tried to do a spot on the steel steps but Crews countered into a Death Valley Driver on the ring apron and this is when he took control of the match. Crews tried to drop steel steps on Big E but he moved out of the way. Crews followed up with a kick to the face but Big E countered with a Uranage slam on the steel steps at ringside. Big E set up a table to put Crews through but Crews recovered and nailed Big E with kendo stick shots and then he went for a frog splash but Crews crashed through the table. The man formerly known as Dabba Kato appeared to attack Big E and that was enough for Crews to pin Big E and win the title.
They introduced the 2021 WWE Hall Of Fame inductees.
WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Asuka vs. Rhea Ripley
Ash Costello of New Year’s Day performed Rhea’s theme “Brutality.” The match started with Ripley no selling a dropkick from Asuka but Asuka came back with a couple of roll-ups and a dropkick into the corner. Ripley charged but Asuka took her down with a toe hold into the turnbuckle.
After a couple of minutes, Ripley was finally able to take control of the match. Ripley slapped her around and hit her with consecutive clotheslines and a kick. Asuka countered the kick into a kneebar but Ripley powered out into a German suplex and then a pin attempt.
Asuka turned things around with a missile dropkick off the top rope and a release German suplex and the hip attack in the corner. Asuka nailed Asuka with spinning back fists and another hip attack. Ripley went for a move off the top rope but Ripley caught her with a dropkick to knock her to the ringside floor. Ripley followed up by dropping Asuka face first on the ring apron but Asuka came back with a DDT off the apron and to the ringside floor.
Asuka continued on offense with kicks the head. She tried the sliding knee attack but Ripley countered with stomps and a version of the Texas Cloverleaf but Asuka broke free and countered into the armbar but Ripley powered out and she tossed Asuka into the corner. Ripley suplexed Asuka into the ring from the ring apron and then she followed up with a cover, Asuka kicked out.
Asuka was able to get an armbar and then the Asuka lock but Ripley rolled through into a pin attempt. Asuka hit a kick and then she tried a running kick but Ripley countered with the Rip Tide and she pinned Asuka to win the title.
Titus O’Neil and Hulk Hogan walked out to thank the fans but they were interrupted by Bayley. Bayley was upset because they did not mention her name and she’s been dealing with legends and “stupid” Michael Cole walking all over her. The Bella Twins interrupted her. Bayley got slapped after she said, “John Cena is not here tonight.” Nikki and Brie then grabbed Bayley and tossed her down the rampway. There was talk of Becky Lynch returning at WrestleMania but apparently, those plans changed. Lynch posted a teaser on Instagram and that fueled the speculation. It’s possible that the decision was made to hold off on her return until Raw on Monday night.
WWE Universal Championship – Triple Threat Match
Roman Reigns vs. Edge vs. Daniel Bryan
Reigns started by knocking out Bryan with a forearm but Bryan got up quickly as Reigns and Edge were fighting. Reigns tossed Bryan out of the ring and Jey Uso knocked out Bryan with a kick. Michael Cole said this was allowed because there are no DQ’s in a Triple Threat Match. Uso knocked out Edge with a kick to the face and he helped Reigns clear out the announcer’s table but Bryan caught Reigns with a dive over the top and to the floor but Uso kicked Bryan again in the face. Uso tried to attack Edge again but Edge reversed and shoved Uso into the steel steps.
Edge shoved Reigns into the ring and barricade several times before shoving him into the ring post. Edge followed up with a DDT on Uso on the steel steps. Reigns was out at ringside for the next couple of minutes as Edge and Bryan fought in the ring. Bryan did a suicide dive onto Reigns at ringside but Reigns caught up and did an overhead toss on the floor. Edge and Reigns fought in the ring as Bryan tried to recover at ringside.
Reigns went for a Superman punch but Edge moved and hit the Edgecution (jumping DDT) but instead of going for the pin, he went for the spear but Reigns caught him with a Superman punch. Reigns went for a spear but Edge countered into a sunset flip and pin attempt. Both Edge and Reigns went for a spear at the same time and they collided in the middle of the ring. Bryan hit Reigns and Edge with a flying headbutt. Bryan went to pin Reigns but he kicked out.
Bryan hit a flurry of offense on Edge and Reigns, including a kick to Reigns’ head. Reigns kicked out of the pin attempt. Bryan locked in the YES lock but Edge broke it up. Bryan then locked in the YES lock on Edge but Reigns broke it up. Reigns powerbombed Bryan onto Edge and then he kicked Bryan out to ringside. Reigns set himself up on the steel steps and then he powerbombed Bryan on the announcer’s table and then Edge came out of nowhere to spear Reigns off the steel steps.
Edge brought a chair in the ring but Reigns stopped him and he tossed the chair out of the ring. Edge locked in a crossface on Reigns and he used a piece of the chair that was left behind. The piece of the chair was wrapped around Reigns’ mouth and it looked like Reigns was going to tap out but Bryan ran in and locked in the YES lock at the same time as Edge had the crossface. Bryan attacked Edge and that allowed Reigns to break free. Bryan repeatedly stomped on Edge’s neck and then he went for the running knee but Edge caught him with the spear. Reigns was also speared and almost won the match but Bryan pulled the ref out of the ring. Cole said that was “perfectly legal.”
Edge attacked Bryan at ringside with a steel chair and then he brought Bryan into the ring. Edge then attacked both Bryan and Edge with several chair shots to the body like Austin did to The Rock at WrestleMania 17. Edge hit the con-chair-to on Bryan but Uso ran in and Edge speared him. Edge then attacked Uso with several chair shots. Reigns got up and speared Edge and he nailed Edge in the head with a con-chair-to. Reigns pinned Edge and Bryan at the same time to retain the title.
