WWE WrestleMania 41 Results: John Cena Wins 17th WWE Title, Travis Scott Interferes

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena took place at WWE WrestleMania 41 – night 2 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV.

Cody got the upperhand before Cena put the boots to him. Cena caught him with a big boot. Cena with a side slam for 2. Cena poked Rhodes in the eye as Cody made a comeback. Cody with an eye poke of his own then hit a powerslam and a disaster kick. Cody with a cutter for 2. Cena hit an AA for 2. Cena with an AA off the middle rope for a near fall. Cena went for a leg drop off the middle rope, but Cody caught him with a powerbomb for 2. Cody with another cutter for 2. Cena avoided a move and locked in the STF, but Cody got to the bottom rope. There was a referee bump and Cody hit the cross rhodes. Cena took the turnbuckle pad off and sent Cody head first into it before hitting an AA for a near fall. Travis Scott came out to the ring and the referee is up, but as Cody hit the cross rhodes, Scott pulled the referee out of the ring. Cody and Scott had a staredown and Scott went for a slap, but Cody ended up giving him a cross rhodes. Cena had the title and went for a shot, but Cody blocked it. They had a tug of war with it and Cody got it, but Cena begged offf. Cena hit a low blow then hit him with the title for the win.

Winner: John Cena

Cena is now a 17-time World Champion and has broken the record for most reigns.
