WWE WrestleMania Cards To Be Announced On ESPN

The breakdown of which matches will take place on each night of WrestleMania 42 will be revealed this Tuesday morning when WWE commentator Joe Tessitore appears on ESPN’s Get Up, with Triple H making the announcement on social media.

Levesque posted on X to confirm the segment, framing it as a major moment in the WrestleMania build. “Every match on this year’s WrestleMania card has the opportunity to steal the show and both nights are stacked,” Levesque wrote. “SmackDown’s Joe Tessitore will be on Get Up tomorrow at 9:35am ET to break down which matches will be featured on Saturday and Sunday.”

The expected headliners for each night are already well established. Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton is anticipated to close out Night 1 on April 18, while CM Punk defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns is expected to be the main event of Night 2 on April 19.

With 12 matches currently confirmed and two more expected to be added before the show, each night is projected to feature a seven-match card. The announcement on ESPN is part of WWE’s broader strategy for WrestleMania 42, with the first hour of each night set to air on ESPN’s linear television platform under the company’s partnership deal.

WrestleMania 42 takes place April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
