The first entrants for the Men’s 2020 Royal Rumble match are set.
During a backstage segment on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Daniel Bryan said he would defeat “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at the Rumble to win the Universal Championship. Reigns was happy to hear that and declared that he would be entering the men’s Rumble match so he could face Bryan at WrestleMania 36 in Tampa, FL.
Reigns pointed out that he never actually lost the Universal Championship in 2018 when he had to take time off to battle leukemia.
As I exclusively reported here on WrestlingNews.co, WWE has purposely cooled off Reigns this year with the idea being that he would get a main event push as we get closer to WrestleMania. I was told that the current plan is for Reigns to challenge Wyatt for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania in Tampa.
Other names announced for the men’s Rumble are Elias, Braun Strowman, and Cesaro.

The 2020 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view is scheduled for Sunday, January 26 at Minute Maid Park in Houston, TX.
