Whatever WWE has planned for WrestleMania will happen in the next few days.
As noted on Friday, WWE is taping the last two SmackDown shows before WrestleMania this weekend. Sometime today they will tape content for the 3/27 and 4/3.
Tomorrow is when they will tape some content for future episodes of WWE NXT. Since the ratings tanked against AEW Dynamite last week because there was no wrestling on NXT, my guess is that we’ll see more in-ring action on the taped shows coming up.
The reason for taping everything in advance is because there is no guarantee that they will be able to put on a live WrestleMania if more restrictions are put in place on travel.
As noted on Friday night, at least one top WWE star may have trouble getting into the country. Click here for more on that story.
If all goes according to plan, then WWE will be all caught up on TV and pay-per-view content until the first week of April.
