Drew McIntyre was moved to Friday Night SmackDown during the first night of WWE Draft last week and that leaves an opening for another top babyface on Monday Night Raw alongside WWE Champion Big E.
Up until Big E won the WWE Title, McIntyre had been pushed as the top babyface on the brand as he had a long run with WWE Title and feuded with Bobby Lashley for months earlier this year.
WrestleVotes reported today that one WWE writer pushed strongly for Finn Balor to be drafted to Raw from SmackDown and replace McIntyre as the second top babyface on Raw. Fans will find out whether the company goes through with this on tonight’s Raw, which is the second night of the Draft.
WWE has done a better job this go around of keeping draft results wrapped up. Good job by them. Only speculation I heard over the weekend included a story about how a RAW writer “banged the table” for Finn Balor, to be used in McIntyre’s role now on Monday nights. We shall see.

At the end of last Monday’s episode of Raw, McIntyre came out and pointed his sword at Big E, who had just beaten Lashley inside of a Steel Cage to retain the WWE Title.
This was an indication that McIntyre vs. Big E will be the top feud on Raw for the next few weeks until the Draft changes go into effect on the October 22nd episode of SmackDown, which is the night after the Crown Jewel PPV event.
