WWE’s Biggest House Show Of The Year Is A Hot Ticket

WWE will return to New York City on December 26th to run a house show at Madison Square Garden. Due to its history at the venue, this has been considered the company’s biggest house show of the year. WWE loads up the card with big matches.

For decades, dating back to Vince McMahon’s father regularly holding shows there, it has been considered WWE’s home arena. A perfect example of the importance of the event was last year’s show, where CM Punk worked his first match back following his WWE return at Survivor Series, where he went over Dominik Mysterio.

WrestleTix, which does a great job of tracking ticket sales for all pro wrestling events, noted that WWE has distributed 9,564 tickets for the show, with 3,198 left for a setup of 12,762. They’ve sold over 1,500 tickets in the last week.

Last year’s show drew 15,831. WWE is advertising the following for the show:

World Heavyweight Championship Match:
‘The Ring General’ GUNTHER (champion) vs. Damian Priest

Steel Cage Match:
Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins vs. ‘Big’ Bronson Reed (he will need to be replaced due to surgery)

Women’s World Championship Match:
Liv Morgan (champion) vs. IYO SKY

CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, Wyatt Sicks, Sami Zayn, The New Day, and LA Knight are advertised.
