WWE’s Cathy Kelley Lands First Movie Role

WWE interviewer, host, and backstage correspondent Cathy Kelley is branching out into Hollywood. On X, she revealed that she has secured her first movie role.

Kelley shared her exciting news with fans by posting a photo of herself outside a talent trailer. The image was captioned, “first movie role: coming soon.”

This new venture for Kelley comes shortly after reports in April from Mike Johnson of PWInsider indicated that she has been actively training at the WWE Performance Center. Her training regimen includes in-ring work and promo classes, sparking speculation among WWE fans about potentially expanding her role within the company.

Kelley initially made a name for herself with WWE fans during her first tenure with the company, from 2016 to 2020. She primarily served as a popular backstage interviewer on NXT and main roster shows and hosted various digital exclusives.

After departing in 2020 to pursue other interests, Kelley made a welcome return to WWE in October 2022, reprising her role as a key backstage interviewer, most recently on SmackDown.
