Cody Rhodes was off to a hot start to his WWE return as he was pushed as a top star where he went on to have solid matches with Seth Rollins before being sidelined with a torn pectoral muscle, with his last match happening at Hell in a Cell before he underwent surgery for it.
It was reported last month that Rhodes “appears to be a little ahead of schedule in healing,” and there is no firm date for his return.
In a post on Twitter, Rhodes opened up on how his physical therapy is going by writing the following:
“How’s pt going?” It’s fn’ awful. Everyday we dig into the muscle, then I scream, half the time I spot a tear flowing. It’s a near impossible task getting a bodypart that had been shredded to 100%…or Hell even 90%. But on the worst of days I have the best reason to not tap out.”
The post also had pictures and a video of Rhodes’ daughter Liberty Runnels, dressed in a Halloween costume. Over the weekend, Rhodes debunked a rumor regarding his AEW departure.
