WWE’s internal list of top babyfaces on SmackDown

Based on watching WWE television, fans can usually pick up on which wrestlers the company sees in certain roles. From babyface to heel to main eventers to jobbers.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select was able to obtain a depth chart that WWE officials have that listed SmackDown’s top babyface talent, and where they’re seen on the card.

Braun Strowman was listed as the top babyface on Friday Night SmackDown while Jeff Hardy followed at second, and Matt Riddle was listed behind them in third.

It should be noted that this depth chart was before last Thursday’s TV taping for Friday’s episode of SmackDown where Strowman started to be portrayed as a heel. Also, at the time, Daniel Bryan wasn’t listed on the depth chart because he has been home as his wife Brie Bella recently gave birth to their second child.

Hardy will challenge AJ Styles for the Intercontinental Title on next week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown.

On the flip side, Strowman will make his next defense of the Universal Title against The Fiend at the upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view event.
