WWE’s Nick Aldis Comments On Mickie James’ Induction Into The TNA Hall Of Fame

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis publicly acknowledged the news that his wife, veteran wrestler Mickie James, is set to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame. In a social media post, Aldis expressed pride for his wife’s accomplishments and her significant impact on the promotion, a company where both he and James have had successful careers.

Mickie James is widely recognized for her foundational role in establishing TNA’s Knockouts division. During her time with the company, she became a five-time TNA Knockouts World Champion, participating in key storylines and matches that helped define the division. Her contributions were instrumental in building the reputation of the Knockouts as a home for serious and competitive women’s wrestling.

Before her celebrated runs in TNA, James first achieved widespread fame in WWE. She debuted in 2005 and was immediately placed in a high-profile program with Trish Stratus. This storyline is often remembered as one of the most compelling women’s rivalries in the company’s history, leading to James winning her first WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 22. Over her WWE career, she would hold that title five times and the WWE Divas Championship once.

James has demonstrated remarkable longevity in the wrestling industry, remaining a top-level competitor for nearly two decades. Following her second departure from WWE, she returned to TNA (then known as IMPACT Wrestling) and once again captured the Knockouts World Championship.

The official induction ceremony for Mickie James will be part of the festivities for TNA’s largest annual event, Bound for Glory. This honor places her alongside other TNA legends like Sting, Kurt Angle, and Gail Kim, recognizing her enduring legacy and contributions to the company’s history.
