It’s been months since WWE kicked off the mystery over who attacked Breezango and we still don’t have any solid clues on who the attackers might be.
They’ve already ruled out The Ascension and, quite frankly, if they were revealed then it would be considered a huge letdown because they have never been pushed as a credible threat since being brought up to the main roster.
There was a rumor in July that The Great Khali might have been the person to attack Breezango at the Battleground pay-per-view and that would have led to The Singh Brothers as the masterminds behind those attacks. There’s nothing pointing in that direction but I guess anything is possible. SAnitY’s name has also been tossed out there as a possibility but keep in mind that they hold the NXT Tag Team Championships and they were part of key storylines at the recent NXT TV tapings that will take them into the NXT Takeover: Houston show in November.
There is one team that hasn’t been seen in a long time and, as reported by the Wrestling Observer newsletter, were in the original plans to be Breezango’s mystery attackers. Meltzer noted, “there are still those in the company who have said the plan when the storyline was first executed was Harper & Rowan back together.” Harper and Rowan have been off WWE TV for many months.
