Pat McAfee has landed another gig as he has signed a full-time deal with ESPN.
The former NFL punter will help host “College GameDay,” which is a show about college football that airs every Saturday morning during the football season.
The news was first reported by the New York Post. It has since been confirmed by McAfee.
The Post reports this will not affect McAfee’s SmackDown work each Friday. However, if they are on a Saturday, it may well affect his ability to commentate on WWE Premium Live Events.
The SmackDown color commentator had previously hinted that an announcement was coming earlier this week.
It’s an absolute honor 2 have this tweet tweeted about me.

McAfee also wrestles in addition to him calling the action alongside Michael Cole, as his most recent bout came in July when he beat Baron Corbin in a singles match.
