Despite rumors that the Hell in a Cell match is slated to headline WWE Bad Blood, the company has different plans.
The main event for the Premium Live Event from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA, on October 5th, has yet to be announced, although CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in Hell in a Cell was believed to be the headliner.
The other bouts confirmed for the show are Roman Reigns & Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley, and Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor. There will be two new additions.
Women’s Champion Nia Jax vs. Naomi or Bayley is on tap, depending on who wins between the fan-favorite stars on this coming Friday’s SmackDown. WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER vs. Sami Zayn is expected to take place.
USA Network recently ran an article indicating the Hell in a Cell match would headline. However, Fightful Select reports that as of last week, the working plan internally was to have Reigns and Rhodes against the Bloodline close the PLE.
