WWE’s Plans For Women’s Tag Team Titles Amid Liv Morgan’s Hiatus

With WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan temporarily stepping away to film a movie, fans have asked about the status of the titles she holds with Raquel Rodriguez. A new report from PWInsider.com provides an update on the situation.

Currently, “there are no plans for Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to be stripped of the WWE Women’s Tag Team belts” due to Morgan’s acting commitment.

The report notes that Morgan “is believed to already be in Japan to film Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo,” with filming scheduled over “the next few weeks.”

Despite her departure for this significant movie role, Morgan’s absence from WWE programming is not expected to be prolonged. According to PWInsider, “The belief is she will be back within a month or so, if not sooner.”

This indicates that while Morgan focuses on her film project for the immediate future, WWE intends for her and Rodriguez to remain champions, anticipating Morgan’s return to television around early to mid-June 2025.
