WWE’s Reaction To Netflix Streaming Issues For Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson Ahead Of Raw Premiere

On Friday night, fight fans criticized Netflix heavily because the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight was riddled with buffering and connectivity issues. Despite these issues, the fight was one of the most-watched global events of the year.

As a result, it caused concern among WWE fans about what could happen when Raw moves to the streamer in January. You can check out the new Raw logo here.

Fightful Select spoke with WWE officials about the concern, and they stated they’d been assured that these issues would be kept at a minimum. A higher-up stated that if they were ever doing the type of traffic Tyson and Paul were doing, that would be a good problem to have.

The fight wasn’t the only issue Netflix has faced; Netflix’s live Love is Blind finale also had significant issues. Per the report, the streamer considered doing a live show for OVW after the OVW Wrestlers show was released as a way to help test live streaming for wrestling.
