Former WWE/TNA star Sean “X-Pac” Waltman recently spoke about the news that D-Generation X is slated to be inducted into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class.
X-Pac, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, and Chyna would go into the class that will likely headline the ceremony. This year’s ceremony will take place on April 6, 2019 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, which is the same weekend as WrestleMania 35.
The pro wrestler joined the WINCLY podcast to discuss this honor as well as why he thinks fellow WWE Hall of Famer Mike Tyson should induct the group.
“If there’s gonna be an inductor…maybe Mike Tyson,” said Waltman. “He was a such a huge part of the early success of DX in the Attitude Era.”
“It’s an amazing feeling obviously…I didn’t know if I was ever gonna make it to see this day,” admitted Waltman. “With DX, NWO, singles – probably at some point it would be recognized. But man, I wasn’t doing too good at some point so you never know.”
