XFL getting its own Hall of Fame event in New York - details



ESPN announced last month that ESPN Films would premiere the 30 for 30 documentary “This Was the XFL” on February 2nd at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN. The XFL was founded by Vince McMahon in 1999 and the first and only season of the football league took place in 2001. The league featured 8 teams and aired on NBC.

The New York Post has a story regarding a pop-up XFL Hall of Fame in New York. The exhibit will take place on January 14th at the Helen Mills Event Space and Theater in Chelsea. It’s open to the public and will feature team helmets and jerseys, trademark black footballs, championship trophies, as well as surprise appearances by XFL stars.
