This week’s Being the Elite ends with a major tease and if you’ve been keeping up with AEW Dynamite, it’s pretty clear who is returning this Wednesday night as The Young Bucks’ mystery partner.
Last week on AEW Dynamite, The Young Bucks asked Hangman Adam Page about teaming up for the Trios Tournament. The previous week is when they patched things up but Page declined Matt and Nick Jackson’s offer because he wants to support The Dark Order, who are also in the tournament.
The mystery partner will be revealed this Wednesday and it’s widely believed to be Kenny Omega. Dave Meltzer reported last week that the reason why FTR vs. The Bucks rematch isn’t happening at All Out is that the company wanted Omega’s return figured into the storyline with The Bucks and Page. PWInsider later reported that it’s widely believed that Omega will be the mystery partner on Wednesday.
During today’s Being The Elite, there was a big tease at the end of the show. The episode ends with Matt Jackson getting a phone call and the person on the other line confirms that he is ready to return. This Wednesday night on Dynamite, The Young Bucks and their mystery partner will take on Andrade El Idolo, Rush, and Dragon Lee. Here are the matches announced for the tournament:
