Zack Ryder reacts to being booed at WWE live event
It looks like Abbotsford, Canada isn’t filled with big fans of former WWE Intercontinental Champion Zack Ryder. Ryder was apparently booed at the WWE’s live event over the weekend before his match. Ryder took to Twitter to react to getting booed, pointing out that his girlfriend is Canadian, so he doesn’t quite understand the animosity:
“Um…so I got booed tonight in Canada. Are you serious bro? My girlfriend is Canadian!”

The 33-year-old has been with WWE for over a decade, signing with the company back in 2005. During his time in the squared circle Ryder has won an Intercontinental Title, Tag Team Title, and a United States Title reign. The crowning achievement of his in-ring career came at WrestleMania 32 when he won a multi-man Ladder match to capture the Intercontinental Title. It remains the sole major championship Ryder has won in his WWE career.
Ryder isn’t seen much on WWE TV today, however, when he does he’s usually cheered by fans – making his booing in Canada all the more interesting.
