The fallout from Zelina Vega being released by WWE last week continues.
Vince McMahon put out a new edict that would ban WWE stars from using third party platforms such as Twitch, Cameo and Only Fans.
It’s been reported that the final straw that ultimately led to her release was due to her opening up a non-nude OnlyFans account, which caused Vega to breach her contract.
After her release from the company, she noted that she supports unionization. The president of SAG-AFTRA (The Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists), Gabrielle Carteris, publicly supported Vega and asked for the former WWE star to contact her about the matter.
The official Twitter account for SAG noted that they had a conversation with Vega.
“Powerful conversation with Thea Trinidad @Zelina_VegaWWE today. We support her and others as they work to protect and empower themselves.”
Vega responded to the tweet by writing, “Very powerful indeed, thank you all for the pleasant conversation and insight.”
