Zilla Fatu: ‘When I See You, CM Punk, I’m Gonna Slap The F**k Out Of You’

During the March 2 episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk took a gamble by invoking the name of Roman Reigns’ late father, Sika Anoa’i. While Reigns remained shocked, the rest of the Anoa’i family has not been as quiet. Zilla Fatu, the son of Umaga and a rising star in the wrestling world, issued a warning to the champion following the broadcast.

The confrontation on Monday Night Raw served as the latest exchange between CM Punk and Roman Reigns as they prepare for their main event clash at WrestleMania 42. Punk, who currently holds the World Heavyweight Championship, looked to get under the skin of the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble winner by bringing up personal family matters. The champion’s comments reached a new level when he referenced the passing of Sika Anoa’i, telling Reigns that he would “bury him next to his father.”

Zilla Fatu, the son of the late Edward “Umaga” Fatu and a cousin to Roman Reigns, addressed the situation during an X livestream shortly after the Raw episode concluded. Fatu did not mince words when discussing the disrespect shown toward his late uncle.

“I am not a CM Punk fan no more. I’m about to SLAP CM Punk when I see him!” He added, “Y’all clip this sh*t. When I see you, CM Punk, I’m gonna slap the f**k out of you,” Fatu warned during the stream.

Sika Anoa’i, one-half of the legendary Wild Samoans alongside his brother Afa, passed away on June 25, 2024, at the age of 79. A three-time WWF Tag Team Champion and a 2007 inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame, Ge was the father of Roman Reigns and the late Rosey (Matthew Anoa’i), and an uncle to countless stars, including The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Jacob Fatu.

The passing of Sika was followed shortly by the death of his brother Afa in August 2024, marking a difficult period for the family.
