Dave Meltzer reports that Shinsuke Nakamura’s decision to go to WWE was not a sudden decision. This was something he was thinking about for some time. The talks with AJ Styles, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson were more recent. One of the things that may help Nakamura is that he speaks English pretty well so that is one hurdle that he won’t have to worry about. Hopefully, WWE allows him to show off his charisma.
Meltzer also reports that the word on Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson is that they will be debuting on NXT TV in early March. As previously noted, they have not signed WWE contracts because they need to finish their NJPW commitments. Gallows owns the rights to the name Biz Cliz. New Japan Pro Wrestling owns the rights to The Bullet Club name so if the plan is to start a similar faction then it would likely be under the Balor Club name. They have been selling Balor Club merchandise for Finn Balor in recent months.
Gallow’s promotion in Georgia, WrestleMerica, will be running a show on Saturday night. For ticket information, call 678-588-0508. Gallows, Anderson, Amber Gallows and Matt Hardy will be at the Brew City Wrestling show in Milwaukee on Friday night.
