Vin Diesel recently announced on Instagram that the Fast and Furious series will be continuing. Fast and Furious 8, which features Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, will be released on April 14th, 2017 while Fast and Furious 9 will be released on April 9th, 2019 and Fast and Furious 10 will be released on April 2, 2021. As of this writing, it’s not known if The Rock will be featured in the 9th and 10th installments of the series.
Speaking of The Rock, he mentioned on Facebook that he was in a recording studio with Broadway star Lin-Manuel Miranda on Wednesday. The two stars are working on songs that will be included in the upcoming Disney movie MOANA. The Rock will be featured in the movie. He posted the following on Facebook:
