As expected, Shinsuke Nakamura has signed his WWE contract. The announcement first broke at a press conference that took place at WWE headquarters. The press conference aired live in Japan on Monday morning (Sunday night in the United States).
“Talent is the lifeblood of our company, and the signing of Shinsuke Nakamura further demonstrates NXT’s commitment to bringing in the best talent from all over the world,” Paul “Triple H” Levesque told WWE.com. “His explosive style will make an immediate impact to an already dynamic NXT men’s division.”
From what I’ve been told, he will be wrestling in NXT for a couple of months so he can get familiar with the WWE system and then he’ll be moved up to the main roster sometime after WrestleMania.
The photos with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were taken last week during Nakamura’s recent visit to the Performance Center.
