WWE announced at Tuesday’s SmackDown TV tapings in Grand Rapids, MI at the Van Andel Arena that Charlotte would team with Dana Brooke to face Sasha Banks and a mystery partner at the BattleGround pay-per-view event.
The WWE BattleGround PPV will take place on on July 24, 2016 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The show will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets.
Here is the updated card for the event:
– Triple Threat WWE Title Match: Dean Ambrose © vs. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns.
– Singles Match: Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn.
– Singles Match: Natalya vs. Becky Lynch.
– Six-Man Tag Team Match: John Cena, Big Cass and Enzo Amore vs. The Club (AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows)
– Intercontinental Title Match: The Miz © vs. Darren Young.
– United States Title Match: Rusev © vs. Zack Ryder.
– Six-Man Tag Team Match: New Day vs. Wyatt Family.
– Tag Team Match: Charlotte and Dana Brooke vs. Sasha Banks and a mystery partner.
– Randy Orton will appear on The Highlight Reel to talk about his match with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.
