There is a new Ring of Honor World Champion.
As seen at Friday’s Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view event in Las Vegas, NV at Sam’s Town Live, Adam Cole defeated Jay Lethal to win the ROH World Title. The match went 24-minutes and ended with Cole hitting his finisher twice to score a three count on Lethal.
As a result, this loss ended Lethal’s title reign, which started back at the ROH Best in the World PPV event in June of 2015. Cole is now a two-time ROH Champion. Cole won the ROH World Title for the first time nearly three years ago.
