WWE did an angle early in the show with Bray Wyatt attacking Randy Orton’s leg. The cameras caught up with Orton and Wyatt with Orton already laying on the floor so they were careful not to do anything where Randy had to take a bump or do anything physical. The announcers wondered what this meant for his match with Wyatt tonight.
Bray Wyatt came out later in the show for his match with Orton but the ring announcer told the crowd that Orton could not be cleared to compete “due to injury.” Wyatt insisted on the referee counting to 10 so he could get a forfeit win. I have no idea why that would make any sense but the referee counted to 10 as Wyatt asked. Wyatt was announced as the winner via forfeit.
The ring announcer then announced that Wyatt would be competing in a No Holds Barred match against Kane. This is not a surprise because Kane was Orton’s sub at the house show in Raleigh on Saturday. Randy Orton limped to the ringside area towards the end of the Wyatt/Kane match. Orton hit an RKO on Wyatt and then Kane hit Wyatt with the chokeslam. Kane got the pinfall win over Wyatt.
