The WWE Mae Young Classic tapings kick off tonight at Full Sail University in Orlando. As noted before, Jim Ross, Lita and Madusa (aka Alundra Blayze) will be on the broadcast team.
Beth Phoenix noted on Twitter that she is in Orlando for the tapings.
Hello again, Orlando. We've gotta stop meeting like this!

The 32-woman tournament will be added to the “on demand” section of the WWE Network with the first four episodes being made available on 8/28. Another four shows will be released on 9/4 and the finals are scheduled to air live on 9/12 at 10 pm Eastern in Las Vegas, after Smackdown Live. Essentially, the finals will be replacing 205 Live on that week. I don’t think it’s the best idea to do the finals after Smackdown Live and they would probably be better off at Full Sail in front of a rowdier fanbase that will react to everything.
For those of you that have asked, apparently, Deonna Purrazzo is at the Mae Young Classic tapings but as an alternate. She has been on WWE’s radar for some time, most notably, as one of the women playing the La Luchadora character during the weeks leading up to Mickie James’ return to the company.
