WWE’s yearly Battleground PPV is coming up fast and SmackDown Live ended this week featuring a tag match with four people set to do battle in singles action on Sunday. Baron Corbin and Kevin Owens teamed against Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles in what was actually a good match for a go-home show. The heels came out on top of that encounter. But for fans in attendance they got a very special treat after 205 Live ended.
John Cena and Randy Orton have had plenty of battles in the past but they teamed up against two guys they will be locking up with on Sunday as well. Big Match John and The Viper took on Jinder Mahal and Rusev in the dark match of the show.
You can see a nice clip of the dark match encounter below thanks to “Social Media Savant” Brian The Guppie (he likes it when people call him that).
The crowd seemed to be plenty hot even after an entire night of television tapings. But then again it’s hard for John Cena and Randy Orton not to get a crowd going at this point.
