SPOILER: Potential surprise for tonight’s WWE Battleground main event

Before you continue reading, we want to warn you that this post might contain a spoiler for tonight’s WWE Battleground pay-per-view. Reader Mike Ward sent word that he saw The Great Khali at Philadelphia International Airport. Coincidentally, tonight’s PPV will take place in Philadelphia.

We haven’t heard anything about surprises for tonight’s show so we can’t say for sure that he will be on the show but if WWE does indeed plan on using Khali on the show then it would make the most sense for him to be involved in the Punjabi Prison match between Randy Orton and Jinder Mahal. We checked Khali’s social media and noticed that he was posting photos of himself on an airline flight and his most recent photo was taken at the airport.

Jinder Mahal stays in contact with Khali on a regular basis and considers him a brother. The Punjabi Prison match was named after Khali’s home state (Punjabi, India). He was supposed to face The Undertaker in the first match at The Great American Bash 2006 but was replaced by The Big Show because of a medical issue. In 2007, competed in the second Punjabi Prison match and lost to Batista.
