Shane McMahon has been indefinitely suspended from WWE

As seen on this week’s episode of WWE Smackdown Live, Shane McMahon attacked Kevin Owens after Owens ripped on McMahon and his family. Owens said that his family (including his kids) would have been better off if he didn’t survive the helicopter crash from a few weeks ago in New York City.

McMahon didn’t take too kindly to those words and then attacked Owens. Later on, Owens threatened to sue the McMahons so later in the show Daniel Bryan announced (per Vince McMahon’s orders) that Shane would be suspended indefinitely as Smackdown Commissioner. I think most of you know where this is going but if you don’t know then scroll down (it’s a spoiler).

The plan is for McMahon and Owens to wrestle at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. The word going around is that their match would take place inside the cell so perhaps this will allow Shane to wrestle Owens (as a wrestler, not as Commissioner) since he is no longer in power. This “suspension” is kind of ironic considering that Jeff Jarrett is taking an indefinite leave of absence in real life. If you missed it, click here to read that story.
