Impact Wrestling is going back to a traditional wrestling ring. For years, they’ve been using the six-sided ring as a way to make their product stand out from other companies. Quite frankly, the six-sided ring hasn’t done anything to help the product. In fact, many wrestlers have complained about the six-sided ring being harder to bump on so the traditional ring will be a welcomed change.
A photo of the ring was posted on Taiji Ishimori’s Twitter account ahead of tonight’s Impact tapings in Orlando.
It will be interesting to see the creative direction for the show because the shows being taped this week will be under the new Scott D’Amore/Don Callis/Sonjay Dutt regime.
We’ll post spoiler results later tonight.
